The Open Society Georgia Foundation (OSGF)-Human Rights Program is offering 2 paid internships for the period of 3 months starting March/April 2017. The Human Rights Program is primarily focused on the protection of fundamental rights in the field of criminal justice. The Program supports outstanding initiatives from civil society organizations and independent experts in criminal justice field, aimed at improving legal framework and practice on criminal justice, liberalization of criminal justice policy, prevention of torture and support to the International Criminal Justice in Georgia (www.osgf.ge). The intern will work under the supervision of Human Rights Program Manager/Coordinator. The intern will provide a research-based and academic assistance in activities related to the work of the Program in the area of criminal justice and international criminal law. The duties will include assistance in translation of legal texts, contributing to reports, preparing legal memos and research papers, organizing meetings, and managing communication with partner organizations and other stakeholders.
